Kim Kardashian Tapped Stylist Carine Roitfield For Its Body-Positive Runway Presentation From Los Angeles
Kim Kardashian’s hugely successful shapewear brand Skims presented its first-ever runway show in Los Angeles on July 20.
Highlighting her brand’s latest collection, the creative director teamed up with CR Fashion Book Editor in Chief Carine Roitfeld to style the collection, who, in addition to Skims’ new Soft Smoothing Seamless collection, opted for Gianvito Rossi heels and sunglasses by Jacques Marie Mage.
But the most impressive and important factor of the show felt like its commitment to diversity and inclusivity, with its casting reflecting a wide spectrum of shapes and sizes. Body diversity and inclusion has always been the core value of the brand, and the show conveyed this message loud and clear.
