The Longtime President Has Helped Drive the Brand’s Expansion Across Categories and International Markets
Veronica Beard has promoted Stephanie Unwin to Chief Executive Officer, formalizing a leadership role she has effectively held during more than a decade of rapid growth at the American fashion brand.

Unwin, who joined Veronica Beard as President in 2013, has overseen the company’s strategy, operations and expansion across product categories and international markets. During her tenure, the brand broadened beyond ready-to-wear into denim, footwear, handbags and belts while significantly expanding its retail footprint.
Her appointment reflects the company’s continued growth rather than a strategic shift, according to the brand.
Unwin will continue to work closely with Cofounders and Co-Chairs Veronica Swanson Beard and Veronica Miele Beard, who remain actively involved in both the creative and operational direction of the business.
“Stephanie’s partnership is invaluable. Our brand has reached incredible success with her leadership and strategic vision. We are honored that she will be our CEO,” said Miele Beard.
“This acknowledges the tremendous role Stephanie has played in shaping our business over the past 13 years,” added Swanson Beard. “Alongside Stephanie, we have turned a dream into a reality, and we are incredibly proud of the company we have built together.”
Unwin described the appointment as an honor, crediting the founders and the broader Veronica Beard team for helping shape the company’s growth trajectory.
“In collaboration with our extraordinary team, we have created a business that aims to elevate women and strengthen communities,” she said. “We believe in an abundant future, and I am excited to continue our expansion across the globe.”
Founded in 2010, Veronica Beard has steadily evolved into one of the leading contemporary American fashion brands, combining tailored ready-to-wear with lifestyle-driven category expansion and a growing direct-to-consumer retail network.
The company currently operates 47 stores, including a recently opened location in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and is preparing to open a Paris flagship on Rue François 1er in June, further accelerating its international presence. The Paris boutique will become the brand’s sixth international store, joining locations in London, Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver.
According to market sources, Veronica Beard is approaching $400 million in annual revenue.
