The Selection of Handpicked Vintage Treasures Debuts With a Special Selection From Renowned Collector Keni Valenti
Authenticated luxury fashion resale platform The RealReal has announced the launch of “Rare Finds,” a dedicated space on the website that features a handpicked selection of pieces with the vintage-loving collector of rare pieces in mind.
To celebrate the launch, The RealReal has teamed with renowned vintage collector Keni Valenti. A vintage fashion aficionado with a legendary collection, Valenti has consigned over 300 pieces from his collection for the launch event. Some exceptional examples include an Alaia evening gown from the Fall 1988 Runway by Azzedine Alaia, famously worn and made for Tina Turner; A Jean Paul Gaultier “Cone Bra” A-Line Dress from the Fall/Winter 1990 Collection, similar to the one Madonna wore during her “Blond Ambition” tour; A Thierry Mugler Space Age Quilted Motorcycle Biker Jacket from the Spring 1990 Runway; and a vintage faux fur Chanel jacket (Look 16 from the Fall 1994 Runway), as worn by supermodel Yasmeen Ghauri.
