Top 10 Spring 2022 Paris Fashion Week Shows

While Paris may be best known for its iconic French heritage brands – which certainly brought it this season – it is full of excellent opportunities for young designers, as well as being a truly international city that fosters creativity no matter its place of origin. This melting pot made for a tremendously exciting return to in-person shows for Spring 2022, with our ‘Other’ category comprising a unique blend of contemporary reconsiderations of Parisian style and new design vision unbound by borders.

Victoria/Tomas expressed a unique approach to committing to sustainability with a collection that was entirely reversible, a move that is also very impressive from a physical design perspective.

Though he continues to be a master of exploring the homoerotic gaze, Ludovic de Saint Sernin also continued his foray into womenswear with a focused, fluid collection.

A change in ownership and creative direction proved to be a very strong move for Shang Xia, which could be on its way to becoming a global household name. At once sharply sophisticated and bubbly, designer Yang Li’s collection showed that minimalism can still be delightfully inventive and colorful.
