Versace Unveils New Luxury Hotel in Macau’s Grand Lisboa Resort

Palazzo Versace Debuts Its First Asian Luxury Hotel within Macau’s Grand Lisboa Palace Resort

In a significant expansion of its luxury hospitality offerings, Palazzo Versace has unveiled its first hotel in Asia, located within the opulent Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau. This new establishment brings the unmistakable luxury and classic contemporary style synonymous with the House of Versace to the heart of Macau.

Guests stepping into Palazzo Versace are immediately immersed in the brand’s luxurious lifestyle, greeted by an interior that mirrors an Italian palazzo. The hotel’s design pays homage to Versace’s rich Milanese heritage, prominently featuring the brand’s iconic motifs such as the Medusa head, Greca motif, and Barocco print across its decor. Notably, the lobby boasts a spectacular representation of Versace’s Milanese home, the Palazzo at Via Gesù 12, created with over 80,000 hand-laid enamel mosaic tiles.

Palazzo Versace Macau occupies one of the Grand Lisboa Palace Resort’s three towers, offering 271 elegantly designed rooms and suites across 12 floors. The rooms continue the Italian palazzo theme with bespoke Versace Home furnishings, textiles, and Italian terrazzo flooring.

The hotel boasts a wealth of amenities, including two Italian restaurants – Don Alfonso 1890 and La Scala del Palazzo, a wellness retreat, a personal training studio, and both indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Don Alfonso 1890, a MICHELIN-starred eatery, offers an authentic Southern Italian dining experience, while La Scala del Palazzo provides a playful setting inspired by the grand staircase of Versace’s Milanese Palazzo, serving Italian culinary delights and coffee culture.

Wellness facilities at Palazzo Versace include spa services with private treatment rooms, a Versace-themed Turkish Hammam, and luxurious swimming pools adorned in mosaic and marble, showcasing the brand’s modern take on classical aesthetics. The outdoor pool, set in private gardens, and the adjacent tranquil bar area, offer guests a serene retreat.

With the opening of its Macau location, Palazzo Versace now operates two fashion-branded hotels worldwide, alongside its Dubai counterpart, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to offering unparalleled luxury and style in the world of hospitality.
