The brand’s metallic and jewel-toned winter palette comes to the fore in Visser’s inventive makeup work, which takes cues from cinematic ice queens, over-the-top glam-rock makeup à la Kiss, and warpaint to transform the campaign’s heroines into icy – but not frigid – and expressive style explorers.
Galiegue shoots with a grainy, silvery look, emphasizing the dramatic wintry feel of the looks and lending a sense of dynamism and elusive power to the portraits.
Calling on a talented creative team to find poise and power behind the chilly palette of winter, the campaign is another strong look at the limitless possibilities of Zara’s beauty line.
