The invitation-only experience at Chateau Marmont extends the brand’s exploration of Italian lifestyle, hospitality, and seasonal living
Zegna has unveiled the latest edition of Villa Zegna in Los Angeles, opening immediately after the brand’s Summer 2027 runway presentation on Malibu Pier. Running from June 6 through June 9, the immersive concept continues a global series that has previously traveled to Shanghai, New York, Dubai, Miami, and Milan.
This edition draws inspiration from La Villeggiatura, the Italian tradition of temporarily relocating one’s life for a season rather than simply taking a vacation. Rooted in ideas of hospitality, leisure, and community, the concept serves as an extension of the themes explored in Zegna’s Summer 2027 collection and reflects the brand’s broader lifestyle positioning.

For the Los Angeles chapter, Zegna transformed Chateau Marmont into an invitation-only private club designed to evoke the atmosphere of an Italian summer residence. The experience centers on the idea of “Tutti a casa mia” — an invitation that extends gatherings beyond their original setting and into a more intimate environment. Guests moved from the Malibu Pier runway show to the villa, where fashion, culture, and hospitality converged through a series of curated spaces and experiences.
Throughout the property, references to Zegna’s heritage and the lifestyle associated with the brand were woven into the environment. Archival-inspired installations, lounges, bars, and communal spaces drew on imagery and cultural touchpoints from the 1970s, including nods to TOP, the magazine published by Zegna between 1967 and 1980. Elements such as an Italian-style newsstand, poolside gathering areas, and hospitality-driven interactions reinforced the concept’s focus on lived experience rather than traditional retail presentation.
The villa welcomed selected clients, members of the international press, friends of the house, and celebrity guests, offering access to exclusive experiences and products available only within the space. Visitors were also able to explore made-to-order looks from the Summer 2027 collection shown in Malibu.
As luxury brands increasingly expand beyond product into experiential environments, Villa Zegna reflects the company’s ongoing effort to position itself through culture, lifestyle, and hospitality. By bringing the concept to Los Angeles, Zegna continued to build on a strategy that connects its fashion collections with a broader vision of contemporary luxury living.
