Dazed Launches Networking App for Creatives

The Platform Fosters Connection and Collaboration for Young Creatives While Feeding Into the Media Company’s World

Dazed Media has launched a networking app meant to foster collaboration and connection among creatives. The Dazed Club app is tied to the media company’s membership program initially launched in 2022.

Encouraging users to share their creative work, whether films, imagery, or portfolio links, the app facilitates connections with collaborators and opportunities for creative endeavors.

Jefferson Hack, chief executive officer and cofounder of Dazed Media – which publishes Dazed, AnOther, and Nowness – said that the platform’s aim is “to shape a new creative future for global youth.”

“Existing creative networking apps are rigged against creative development so we have decided to build one that puts their needs and interests at the heart, empowering and equipping the next generation to make their mark in the creative industry globally,” Hack added.

The platform will feature notable names, with Dazed cover and digital talents engaging directly with the community through events. Members have access to events and activations with creative talents like Molly Manning Walker, Marina Abramović, Campbell Addy, Coucou Chloe, Jamie XX, and Jordan Firstman.

In addition to fostering collaboration, the app serves as a talent pool. Dazed’s creative and editorial teams will showcase projects from the app and explore the platform for potential new hires.

While the app itself is free, there is a members’ area named Dazed Clubbers accessible for a monthly fee of £5. This premium tier offers benefits like complimentary Dazed magazine copies, competitions, product drops, discounted event access, and opportunities to meet experts, along with having work spotlighted in the Dazed and AnOther magazine archive.
