Each of the Seven Distinct and Storied Scents Is Inspired by a Member of Fendi’s Chosen Family
Fendi is forging forward into a new chapter for the historic house with the unveiling of its first-ever fragrance collection.
Created in close collaboration between perfumists Quentin Bisch, Fanny Bal, and Anne Flipo and the house’s three artistic directors – Kim Jones of womenswear, Silvia Venturini Fendi of accessories and menswear, and Delfina Delettrez Fendi of jewelry – the full collection encompasses seven distinct fragrances.
Each complex and storied fragrance is inspired by one of the creative personalities who have been instrumental players in the history of the family business that is Fendi: Adele Casagrande Fendi, the matriarch and the house’s original cofounder, for the scent Casa Grande; Anna Fendi, her daughter and one of the legendary Fendi sisters, with Dolce Bacio; Silvia Venturini Fendi – third generation and creator of the house’s iconic bags Baguette and Peekaboo – with Perché No; her two daughters, Leonetta Luciano Fendi and Delfina Delettrez Fendi – fourth generation – with, respectively, Ciao Amore and Sempre Mio; the latter’s young twins, Tazio and Dardo Vascellari Delettrez Fendi with La Baguette; and lastly Kim Jones with Prima Terra.
The fragrance collection tells the story of Fendi from another point of view. It expresses the essence of the Maison in a different way, by telling its story in a different language. Today, at Fendi, we can readily say that we have explored and used all the senses.“
