The popular SJP by Sarah Jessica Parker brand is shutting down, with final sales underway before its Manhattan store closes on August 25
Sarah Jessica Parker’s iconic shoe line, SJP by Sarah Jessica Parker, is coming to an end after nearly a decade in business. The brand, known for its colorful, feminine pumps and sleek designs, announced last week that it would be winding down operations. Originally launched in 2014 by the Sex and the City star in collaboration with George Malkemus, former head of Manolo Blahnik U.S., the line quickly became a go-to for stylish women.
The shoes — often featuring sparkling buckles, patent leather finishes, and playful details like “hello” and “lover” inscribed on wedding heels — even made their way into Parker’s reboot series And Just Like That…, albeit under the fictional label “Duchessa Gardini.” This move allowed Parker to maintain the separation between herself and her iconic character, Carrie Bradshaw, while continuing to highlight her passion for footwear.
As the brand winds down, SJP shoes are now being offered at 25 percent off in final sales, though prices still hover over $400. The Bleecker Street store in Manhattan will officially close on August 25. While the SJP shoe line is ending, Parker remains active in other ventures, including her wine brand, Invivo X, SJP, and her fragrance line, Lovely. Additionally, Parker is currently filming the third season of And Just Like That…, continuing her legacy both on and off the screen.
