Chanel offers a new perspective on après-ski elegance with the new campaign for for this year’s Coco Neige skiwear capsule captured by photographer Juergen Teller.
Channeling his signature style that blurs the line between elevated fashion image and everyday digital snapshot, Teller captures model and frequent Chanel muse Lola Bahia in an elegant and eclectic interior space. The sophisticated sitting room and library complete with interior decoration that draws together various eras and baroque adornments isn’t where we might first expect to encounter skiwear. Yet in their conversation, these disparate elements serve to emphasize the refinement and sophistication of Chanel’s designs – both on and off the slopes – while drawing us in with an ambiguous yet inviting sense of narrative.
At once unexpected yet familiar, elevated yet everyday, the campaign puts an indulgently elegant spin on the return of seasonal skiwear collections.
