Gabriela Hearst Donates Holiday Proceeds to Save the Children

Initiative runs December 1–25 with online exclusives

For the sixth consecutive year, Gabriela Hearst has partnered with Save the Children to support its Children’s Emergency Fund (CEF) during the holiday season. From December 1 to December 25, 2024, all net proceeds from ready-to-wear items, handbags, and accessories sold in Gabriela Hearst flagship stores and on gabrielahearst.com will be donated to the organization. Participating flagship locations include 985 Madison Avenue in New York, 9502 Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles, and 59 Brook Street in London.

This year’s campaign offers an exclusive opportunity for customers to purchase Gabriela Hearst handbags, typically only available via a waitlist, directly online. Complimentary engraving is available on classic styles, making the collection more accessible for the duration of the initiative.

Janti Soeripto, President and CEO of Save the Children US, expressed gratitude for the partnership, stating,

Gabriela Hearst’s longstanding support and dedication to our work is commendable, and we are grateful for how it has bolstered our efforts to improve children’s lives globally over the past six years. We look forward to all the positive impact proceeds from this generous campaign will bring to children and their families this holiday season.”

Gabriela Hearst, Founder and Creative Director, also emphasized the importance of the campaign. “At a recent gathering of Save the Children, I learned a shocking statistic: 1 billion children are in crisis due to conflict or climate-related issues. This number is too painful to digest, but in the despair of questioning our humanity, we must consider how we can take care of the seeds of our future. We have these earthly angels, the unrecognized heroes who put their lives in danger to protect, educate, and lift up children. They are an army of good, an army without weapons. An army that doesn’t see enemies but children in need, in the spirit of their wise founder Eglantyne Jebb. Thank you to Janti and to Save the Children’s workforce for still believing that working hard for children’s well-being is the best calling in life. Because it is truly our future, and every child is ours.”

Save the Children continues to respond to escalating global crises. In 2023, the organization reached over 14.7 million children through 121 emergency responses. With conflict, climate issues, and natural disasters on the rise, children remain among the most vulnerable populations. Save the Children is often the first or only child-focused organization operating in remote and challenging environments, delivering critical support to those in need.

Since its founding, Save the Children has impacted the lives of more than 1 billion children globally, providing resources to improve education, health, and emergency care for those most at risk.
