Louis Vuitton Expands High Watchmaking Collection

Louis Vuitton Expands High Watchmaking Collection With Three Exceptional 2025 Creations

Louis Vuitton has unveiled its 2025 High Watchmaking novelties, showcasing a trio of ambitious and technically complex timepieces that push the boundaries of craftsmanship and mechanical innovation.

Leading the lineup is the Tambour Bushido Automata, the third automata watch created by La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton. Inspired by the ancient world of the samurai, the new timepiece blends horological artistry with Japanese cultural motifs, reflecting Louis Vuitton’s commitment to imaginative storytelling through design. The intricate creation continues the Maison’s exploration of narrative-driven watchmaking, following the success of previous Tambour Automata models.

Expanding into new thematic territory, Louis Vuitton also introduces the Tambour Galactique, a minute repeater equipped with cathedral gongs and an integrated automata function. Designed as a journey into space, the Galactique model merges high-complication engineering with avant-garde aesthetics. “The Tambour Galactique embodies a modern journey where Louis Vuitton’s DNA — to constantly push boundaries — reaches its pinnacle,” said Matthieu Hegi, Artistic Director of La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton.

The third addition, the Escale en Amazonie pocket watch, represents the most complex creation to date from the Maison’s watchmaking division. Paying homage to the Amazon rainforest, the one-of-a-kind pocket watch features a combination of an intricate automata scene and a minute repeater complication, along with highly detailed Métiers d’Art craftsmanship. With this release, Louis Vuitton continues to blend its spirit of travel with its evolving reputation for technical excellence in high watchmaking.

Together, these three new pieces demonstrate Louis Vuitton’s growing ambition within the haute horlogerie space, pairing technical mastery with a commitment to imaginative design and artisanal storytelling.
