Dolce & Gabbana and ’47 Launch Baseball-Inspired Capsule

The Collaboration Reworks Classic Headwear Through The Lens Of Fashion And Sports Culture

Dolce & Gabbana has partnered with American headwear brand ’47 on a limited-edition collection that blends elements of fashion, sport, and streetwear, centering on reinterpretations of the baseball cap.

At the core of the collaboration is ’47’s signature ‘Clean Up’ model, a relaxed, curved-visor cap worn widely across global sports fandom. For the capsule, the silhouette is reimagined through Dolce&Gabbana’s visual codes, including leopard print, variations of the DG logo across denim, black, and white bases, and patchwork treatments in denim designed to be unique across individual pieces.

The collection also introduces a balaclava version of the ‘Clean Up’ , extending the offering into a more overtly streetwear-oriented direction while maintaining the collaboration’s focus on logo-driven design.

Each style is produced in versions featuring branding from three Major League Baseball teams—the Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Yankees, and New York Mets—positioning the collection at the intersection of luxury fashion and sports licensing.

Founded in Boston, ’47 has built its business around officially licensed sports merchandise, developing a global presence through partnerships with major leagues while expanding into fashion collaborations. The project with Dolce&Gabbana reflects a broader trend of luxury brands engaging with sportswear codes and fan culture through limited-edition capsules.

The Dolce&Gabbana x ’47 collection launched March 18 and is available exclusively through the brand’s online channels.
