Calvin Klein and Jung Kook Launch Limited-Edition Capsule Collection

The collaboration marks Jung Kook’s first fashion design project, reinterpreting Calvin Klein’s signature essentials through a biker-inspired lens

Calvin Klein has unveiled Jung Kook for Calvin Klein, a limited-edition capsule collection created in partnership with the global brand ambassador and musician Jung Kook. Announced on May 19, 2026, the 20-piece collection marks the artist’s first fashion collaboration and builds on his ongoing relationship with the American brand by translating his personal style into a series of reworked Calvin Klein staples.

The capsule merges Calvin Klein’s minimalist design codes with references drawn from Jung Kook’s affinity for motorcycles and vintage Americana. Rooted in denim and underwear, the collection includes reinterpretations of the brand’s 90s trucker jacket, straight-leg and low-rise baggy jeans, graphic T-shirts, sweatshirts, and a racer jacket. Distressed finishes, racing stripe motifs, custom washes, and hidden embroidery introduce a more personal and collectible dimension while maintaining the brand’s established visual identity.

“Partnering with Calvin Klein over the past few years has given me the opportunity to express myself through the brand’s iconic style, and it’s been exciting to work with Calvin Klein in this more personal, creative way,” said Jung Kook. “As my first fashion collaboration, I wanted to fully immerse myself in the process, leveraging Calvin Klein’s design expertise to leave my mark on every piece.”

The collaboration arrives as fashion brands continue to deepen long-term partnerships with global music figures, moving beyond ambassador roles into co-designed product and storytelling initiatives. For Calvin Klein, the project further expands the cultural reach of its core categories while reinforcing its longstanding alignment with youth culture, music, and celebrity-driven campaigns.

David Savman, Global Brand President of Calvin Klein, described the collaboration as “two cultural forces at full power,” noting that the collection reflects Jung Kook’s individuality while remaining grounded in Calvin Klein’s visual language. The launch is accompanied by a campaign photographed and directed by Alasdair McLellan, presenting Jung Kook through a cinematic biker-inspired narrative that emphasizes freedom, movement, and rebellion.

The release positions Calvin Klein within an increasingly competitive luxury-adjacent denim and essentials market where collaborations are expected to deliver not only commercial appeal, but also cultural relevance and narrative authenticity.
