Jacquemus and Timberland Reunite for Boat Shoe Collaboration

The brands come together to produce a second limited-edition drop of boat shoes, building on the success of their initial partnership in 2025.

Jacquemus and Timberland have unveiled the second chapter of their footwear partnership, introducing the Lagoon Blue interpretation of Timberland’s classic 3-Eye Lug Boat Shoe. Releasing July 17th, the collaboration builds on the momentum of the sold-out debut from earlier last year, while demonstrating how heritage silhouettes continue to be reimagined through a luxury lens.

The inspiration for the Lagoon Blue colorway was drawn from Jacquemus’ Spring/Summer 2027 collection Le Bonheur; it references bold color palettes from the 1980s Memphis design movement as well as art deco architecture. The result is a monochromatic design that lies in the intersection of Timberland’s outdoor heritage and Jacquemus’ distinct visual language.

The release follows last year’s Banana Yellow edition, which helped frame Timberland’s signature shoe within the conversation of luxury fashion; it continues Jacquemus’ broader strategy of collaborating with established footwear brands, utilizing recognizable silhouettes as canvases for storytelling rather than introducing entirely new designs. They crafted the Lagoon Blue Authentic Boat Shoe from premium full-grain leather featuring a leather lining and signature lug outsole. Implementing tonal blue laces with the tree logo helps to maintain the single-color aesthetic, while the custom Jacquemus hardware presents subtle luxury detailing without altering the shoe’s recognizable form.

The latest collaboration between Jacquemus and Timberland reflects the growing appeal of heritage footwear reinterpreted through contemporary luxury design. The partnership demonstrates how updates in color, material, and branding can extend the relevance of established silhouettes while appealing to both luxury consumers and long-time Timberland enthusiasts.
