The House elongates its bowling-inspired Le Turismo with softer proportions, shoulder-ready handles, and an inside-out leather construction
Jacquemus is expanding its Le Turismo family with Le Turismo Long, a new interpretation of the House’s bowling-inspired bag. The design stretches the familiar silhouette into a longer, softer shape, introducing a more relaxed proposition conceived around everyday wear.
Elongated proportions define the new style, with extended handles designed to sit comfortably over the shoulder. Its more generous body adds capacity while maintaining the recognizable details of the Le Turismo family, including the distinctive knots connecting the handles to the bag.
The silhouette’s softness comes largely from its construction. Le Turismo Long is assembled entirely inside out before being turned during the final stage of production, a leatherworking technique that creates its rounded edges and supple structure. Rather than holding the material within a rigid architecture, the construction allows the leather to soften naturally around the bag’s elongated form.
Jacquemus explores that tactility across three finishes. Grained calf leather offers a more durable interpretation for everyday use, while suede calf emphasizes the design’s softer character. Croc-embossed suede adds another layer of texture, bringing a more pronounced finish to the otherwise pared-back silhouette.
Available in black and dark brown leather alongside medium brown and khaki suede, Le Turismo Long finds its identity in the balance between structure and slouch. By stretching an existing House signature rather than reinventing it outright, Jacquemus gives Le Turismo a looser, more practical evolution — one designed to sit as easily on the shoulder as it does within the brand’s accessories vocabulary.
