Foot Locker Appoints Former Nike Executive to Lead WSS Banner
Foot Locker, Inc. announced the appointment of Blanca Gonzalez as Senior Vice President and General Manager of its WSS banner, effective May 15, 2023. WSS is best known for its neighborhood-based store presence and deep connection within Latino communities.
Blanca joins Foot Locker from Nike Inc., where she served as Vice President of North America Product Merchandising and brings more than 19 years of experience across various Nike leadership roles in Marketing, Merchandising, and Sales.
Blanca will report directly to Frank Bracken, Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer, and oversee the operations of WSS.

Latriece Watkins Announced Chief Merchandising Officer of Walmart U.S.
Walmart announced Latriece Watkins has been named the new Chief Merchandising Officer of Walmart U.S. Watkins previously was Executive Vice President of Consumables for Walmart.

Watkins replaces Charles Redfield, who stepped down and moved to an advisory role in April.
Robert Triefus Appointed Stone Island Chief Executive Officer
Moncler Group and Sportswear Company S.p.A., the company that develops, produces, and distributes the Stone Island brand, announced the appointment of Robert Triefus as Chief Executive Officer of Sportswear Company S.p.A., effective 1st June, 2023.
Triefus will report to the Board of Directors of Sportswear Company S.p.A. chaired by Carlo Rivetti.

Robert Triefus joins Stone Island from Gucci, where over 15 years he held roles of increasing responsibility on the company’s Executive Committee, most recently as CEO of Gucci Vault and Metaverse Ventures and Senior Executive Vice President, Corporate & Brand Strategy, prior to which he was Executive Vice President, Brand and Client Engagement. He also served on the Board of Directors of the Kering Foundation and was Chair of Gucci’s Chime For Change Advisory Board.
Before joining Gucci, Robert Triefus was Executive Vice President of Worldwide Communications at Giorgio Armani S.p.A. from 1999 to 2008 and Senior Vice President of Worldwide Communications for Calvin Klein, Inc. from 1994 to 1999.

John Lewis Announced Nicky Dulieu to Board
The John Lewis Partnership today announced the appointment of Nicky Dulieu as a Non-Executive Director of the Partnership Board and Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee, with immediate effect. She succeeds Andy Martin who stands down after five years with the Partnership.
Nicky has a strong background in retail including as Chief Executive of Hobbs from 2008 until 2014, having joined as the company’s Financial Director. She started her career with Marks & Spencer Group plc where she held various strategic and financial roles over a 23 year period. Nicky currently serves as Non-Executive Director of WH Smith plc, Unite Students plc and housing developer, Redrow plc.

Bremont Names Davide Cerrato CEO
Bremont, Britain’s largest manufacturer of luxury watches, announced that it has appointed industry veteran Davide Cerrato as CEO and a member of the Board.
Bolstering Bremont’s in-house capabilities, Cerrato brings with him extensive experience in branding, product design and development, supply-chain management, and production. Cerrato has a proven track record, having worked with some of the most notable brands in the watch industry including Tudor, Montblanc and Panerai.
At Tudor, Rolex’s sister brand, Cerrato was Head of Marketing, Design & Product Development where he oversaw the re-launch of the brand and the design of its iconic Black Bay watch in 2012. Tudor’s Black Bay watch distinguished the brand and went on to be one of the company’s most successful and popular collections.
He subsequently was Managing Director of Montblanc’s watch division where he created the stunning and unique 1858 Geosphere watch which became the hero product for Montblanc and established the company’s watch brand identity. Cerrato most recently served as CEO and Creative Director of HYT.

Anthropologie Group Announced New Leadership Appointments
Anthropologie Group announced new leadership appointments to position itself for continued growth. The brand, which recently celebrated its 30thAnniversary, will look to these key leaders to advance Anthropologie into its next phase of category development and market opportunities.
Anthropologie’s Global Chief Executive Officer, Tricia Smith, announced the promotion of Anu Narayanan to President of Women’s: Apparel, Accessories, Weddings, and Beauty. Since joining Anthropologie in 2018, Narayanan has led the women’s apparel and accessory business, and with this role expansion, has taken ownership of the beauty and weddings categories. Under her leadership, her teams have delivered historical highs across sales and customer acquisition, and she has been a visionary leader in the development, execution, and achievement of Anthropologie’s growth plans.
Another announcement coming from the Women’s team is that Holly Thrasher was named Chief Merchandising Officer of Apparel and Weddings. Thrasher joined Anthropologie in July of 2021 after 18 years at Nordstrom. She has been an instrumental leader on Narayanan’s team overseeing digital merchandising advancement, product evolution, and leadership development, which has contributed greatly to the success of Anthropologie’s apparel business. With this appointment Thrasher will take on the Wedding’s category.
Additionally, Aaron Mutscheller will be joining Anthropologie Group as President of Anthropologie Home and Terrain. In this role, he will be responsible for Anthropologie’s home and garden business across all channels of distribution. Mutscheller will lead design and buying, as well as production and global sourcing for the brand. He brings over two decades of proven experience in business development, brand strategy, product innovation, and operational excellence in the home retail and interiors space and has held leadership positions at Williams Sonoma, Serena & Lily, and most recently, Nickey Kehoe.

Authentic Brands Group (Authentic) announced that it has signed long-term strategic partnerships with two new operating partners for Ted Baker in the UK and Europe, namely PDS Group (PDS) and AARC.
PDS, a global leader in design-led fashion sourcing and manufacturing platform, serving the world’s leading brands and retailers, will become a core licensee and operating partner for Ted Baker. PDS, through a UK subsidiary, will serve as the global hub for the newly established Ted Baker Design Group (TDG) and take on Ted Baker’s design and merchandising functions. Sara Moss to Retire From the Estée Lauder Companies
Estée Lauder announced that Sara Moss, Vice Chairman, The Estée Lauder Companies, has made the decision to retire, effective July 1, 2023.
Sara’s outstanding career with The Estée Lauder Companies began in 2003 when she joined the organization as Executive Vice President and General Counsel, a position she served in until 2019 when she was promoted to Vice Chairman. A recognized thought leader, collaborative partner, and keen legal and business strategist, Sara served as a trusted advisor to the business, the Board of Directors and the Lauder Family throughout her tenure.
“Sara is an exceptional legal mind, a skilled advisor, a valued mentor, and a much-loved leader whose strategic insights, business acumen and sound judgment have contributed greatly to our company’s success,” said Fabrizio Freda, President and Chief Executive Officer. “Her incredible character, steadfast integrity and deep empathy will be greatly missed across the organization.”
As General Counsel, Sara led the Global Legal function, as well as the Corporate Security function, during a period of enormous growth in the business and operations of ELC. She prioritized business acumen and dedicated lawyers to each brand, region and function to support the growth and protection of the enterprise with local relevance. Notably, she oversaw the function’s initial international expansion into Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America, and collaborated closely with senior management and teams across the enterprise to execute many business-driving acquisitions, investments, and licenses of global luxury and prestige brands.
Sara has been a true champion of the company’s initiatives in Inclusion, Diversity and Equity and philanthropy. She was an inaugural member of the Diversity Council and the first Executive Sponsor of the Hispanic Connection Employee Resource Group. In 2019, she joined Jane Hertzmark Hudis, Executive Group Brand President, and Tracey T. Travis, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, as Co-Executive Sponsor of the Women’s Leadership Network (WLN). She has been a Board member of the ELC Charitable Foundation since its inception.
Upon her promotion to Vice Chairman in 2019, Sara served as a senior advisor to Executive Management, the Board of Directors, and the Lauder Family, working on a wide range of matters to strategically support the company’s long-term sustainable success.

For the past three years, Sara also led the Social Impact pillar of the company’s integrated ESG strategy, including Women’s Advancement and Gender Equality, Racial Equity, Generational Diversity and Social Impact in China.
Sara’s impact extends far beyond the walls of ELC. In 2017 she established the Sara Moss Women’s Leadership Program at New York University Law School – her alma mater – where she also serves as a Law School Trustee and member of the Board of Directors. She is Vice Chairman of the Board of The New York Common Pantry, where she was recognized with the Distinguished Partner Award in 2020. Additionally, she serves on the Advisory Boards of the International Rescue Committee (IRC) and The Legal Aid Society. Sara has received many well-deserved honors in recognition of her outstanding career and tireless service, including the New York Journal Lifetime Achievement Award, the Legal Aid Society Servant of Justice Award, the NOW Legal Defense and Education “Aiming High” Award and the NYU Outstanding Alumna Award.

Juliette Streichenberger will serve as President of CGAG and EMEA, responsible for Canada Goose’s growing business in the internationally influential region. Juliette brings nearly 30 years of global luxury expertise to the role, having led teams at Prada and LVMH. She joins Canada Goose from Hermès, where she held the role of European Managing Director and more than doubled the business’ turnover during her tenure. Juliette takes over for Pat Sherlock, who is departing, having played a pivotal role at Canada Goose for more than 10 years.
Ana Mihaljevic first joined the company in 2015 and has been critical to the growth trajectory of Canada Goose’s commercial business, having established the planning and sales operations functions. As Head of Global Stores, she will lead the long-term roadmap for the brand’s retail expansion and oversee global retail excellence, championing Canada Goose’s plans to more than double its footprint over the next five years.
Daniel Binder, who has been engaged in consulting and interim roles with Canada Goose, is assuming the position of Chief Transformation Officer and EVP, Sales Operations & Planning. Dan will lead transformation objectives, overseeing the development and execution of the company’s efforts to ensure scalable growth. Prior to Canada Goose, Dan held senior roles at DFS, a division of LVMH, and Macy’s, and has led large performance improvement projects with global organizations in his role as an external consultant. Dan brings more than 35 years of global retail expertise to Canada Goose, leading high-performing teams with intense focus on business process, performance improvement and organizational design.
Having joined in 2017, Patrick Bourke previously led Canada Goose’s Investor Relations and Strategy functions. In his new role as SVP of Strategy & Corporate Development, his responsibilities will include the development, oversight and execution of Canada Goose’s corporate priorities, as well as new business opportunities. This builds upon the experience acquired during his tenure with the company, which includes supporting the Baffin acquisition and the creation of Canada Goose Japan.
