Cerbone to lead global marketing efforts as the brand approaches its 80th anniversary
Brioni has named Flavio Cerbone as its new chief marketing officer. Reporting directly to CEO Mehdi Benabadji, the appointment is part of the brand’s broader strategy to strengthen its global brand positioning and identity.
Cerbone joins the company with more than 20 years of experience in communications and marketing. He previously held the role of head of communication at Church’s, a company under the Prada Group, where he began working in 2013. Prior to his time at Prada, Cerbone held a position at eyewear company Marcolin.
As CMO, Cerbone will lead Brioni’s global marketing efforts, with responsibilities covering events, social media, public relations, and the brand’s media presence. The Kering-owned label, known for its luxury menswear, is preparing to mark its 80th anniversary in 2025.
Brioni remains led creatively by Norbert Stumpfl and continues to focus on men’s tailoring, though it has recently expanded into women’s fashion. During Milan Design Week, the brand launched a limited-edition collaboration with crystal house Lalique. The release featured 18 signed flacons, each containing a unique parfum essence.
