Burberry, an official platinum partner of The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Pageant, celebrates The Queen’s 70 years of service with a series of installations, campaigns, and commemorative pieces.
In support of Superbloom, a floral spectacle floating through the moat of the Tower of London, Burberry will be releasing a Burberry Floating Meadow. This zero-waste installation is symbolic of the brand’s commitment to tackling the climate crisis. There will also be a Burberry Art Wall, created by digital artist Jon Emmony, inspired by Superbloom’s hope for a more biologically diverse and rich future.
In addition, Burberry is releasing a commemorative Jubilee Scarf, in celebration of the brand’s British heritage and the fauna and flora of the British woodlands. The brand donated to the Woodland Trust in order to support the UK’s woods and trees.
The Children’s Jubilee Artwork Campaign is a workshop Burberry hosted earlier this year at Armley Park Primary School in Leeds, in which they asked students to create artwork and messaging in honor of the Queen’s milestone. The works have since been enlarged and displayed at over 80 bus stops throughout Westminster. Armley Park Primary School is a beneficiary of Burberry’s partnership with Marcus Rashford MBE, the National Literacy Trust and Macmillan Children’s Books to help children work on their literacy.
