Coperni’s Christmas is for the dogs. Developed in collaboration with creative directors Charles Levai and Kevin Tekinel and Studio L’Etiquette, the brand’s Holiday 2024 campaign is all about canine companionship and the joy of festive togetherness.

A year ago, Coperni scored the holiday season’s buzziest campaign with a series starring a cast of adorable tiny kittens frolicking among its signature accessories. The new campaign cleverly develops this thread while balancing things out by giving something to the dog people.

The short film sees a cozy Christmas dinner party from the perspective of the guest’s furry friends. Lounging near a tree laden with gifts, some of which are wrapped while others are conspicuously unwrapped Coperni pieces, they have a perfect view of the celebration-ready Coperni footwear on display as more guests arrive. Their individual personalities brought to life through fun voice acting, they give a delightful play by play of the stylish action.

The accompanying photos reworks frames from the video as a series of pup portraits. Finished off with an old-school Coperni logo and the clever and slightly saucy tagline “Have a bitchin’ holiday season!”, the images are playful, nostalgic, and warm.

Whether it’s futuristic explorations of emerging technology or more playful and classic approaches such as this one, Coperni’s campaigns always have a surprise in store. While it makes smart reference to one of the brand’s previous campaigns, this latest chapter is another example of Coperni’s ability to balance chicness and whimsy and create campaigns that are worth talking about.
