Cos Returns to New York Fashion Week
COS, the London-based fashion brand, is making a comeback on the New York runways on Sept. 10. The show will kick off at 1 p.m. and be live-streamed on cos.com.
COS, affiliated with H&M, debuted at New York Fashion Week in September 2022. This upcoming event will mark the brand’s third runway show in the Big Apple.
The company will showcase its autumn 2024 mainline and Atelier collections on the runway. COS’s design director, Karin Gustafson, expressed her excitement about returning to New York, stating, “New York is a dynamic city with so much character—it’s a place of inspiration, full of interesting and creative people. We are honored to return for our third year, bringing the collections to life on the runway at an exciting new location.”
Although the company did not disclose the show’s exact location, they did mention that it will be held in Brooklyn.
COS collaborated with Japanese artisan Kazuki Tabata this past summer for a limited-edition summer capsule collection. Tabata is a Kyoto-based expert in binding, folding, and dyeing cloth, utilizing the shibori resist-dyeing craft that is at risk of dwindling out, with Tabata being hailed as one of the last traditional practitioners.
