Review of Delpozo ‘Obertura’ Fall 2024 Ad Campaign by Creative Director Joaquín Trías & Enrique Mellado with Talent Tilda Swinton

Spanish fashion house DELPOZO has made a bold return under the leadership of new Co-CEOs and Co-Creative Directors Joaquín Trías and Enrique Mellado. Their first project, the film “OBERTURA,” stars Academy Award-winner Tilda Swinton, embodying a fresh vision for the brand. Described as “a hybrid model between a fashion brand and an entertainment platform,” the film marks the beginning of a new creative chapter.

In “OBERTURA,” Swinton plays The Gardenerette, a symbolic figure bringing life back to the House of DELPOZO. “We felt we needed to go literal: the first seed, the massive effort, the primary bloom,” said the directors, expressing gratitude for Swinton’s involvement. “Never in our wildest dreams could we imagine Tilda Swinton would portray this meaningful moment for the House.”

The film also showcases a custom look that evolves from deep navy blue to hand-sewn pink sequins, inspired by flowers from the homelands of the brand’s founders. The project sets the stage for DELPOZO’s new direction, with their SS25 collection set to debut at Paris Fashion Week.
