Denim Blues Fall 2024 Fashion Trend

Denim Blues

Spring 2024 Fashion Trend

Denim, that most utilitarian of materials, has had a revamp in recent years, from being shredded and embellished to elevated to couture-level heights. So much so, that it has become a key addition to the collections of even the most formal of brands, and this season denim was reworked  to play into the bohemian trend at Masha Popova in two-tone finishes, spliced with tailoring fabrics and tweeds at Stella McCartney and Sacai, and quilted in maxi-lengths at Gabriela Hearst.

DIY and upcycling have seduced designers on the runways, and patchworked denim has emerged across all four cities. Kim Jones trip to the country at Fendi kept it simple with clean dark tones of denim and British brand Ahluwahlia paired with Levi’s to weave tales of Nigerian and Indian folklore from her heritage into three looks. Using deadstock denim to create seventies style pieces elevated with sculptural elements.
