Instagram Met Gala After-Party

Instagram sponsored The Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Benefit, In America: An Anthology of Fashion with co-chairs Regina King, Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Lin-Manuel Miranda, and honorary chairs Adam Mosseri, Tom Ford, and Anna Wintour. 

As the Gala concluded, Instagram welcomed attendees, creators, and table guests including SZA, Sabrina Carpenter and Anderson .Paak to its official after party, held at the James B. Duke House. 

In keeping with the Gala’s gilded glamour theme, attendees gathered inside the Gilded Age mansion with DJs @cocoandbreezy and Anderson .Paak, who took the stage before the evening’s special guest performer. Past midnight, SZA performed for Instagram’s creators and community beneath the grand hall’s chandeliers. 

With a community of over 1 billion people, creators and businesses, Instagram has changed the way fashion, style, and culture are created and discovered. 

“I cannot wait to see how this exhibit will inspire and shape the next generation of designers, artists, filmmakers, and more. And for Instagram to be the place where those untold stories can come to light and push culture forward,” said Eva Chen Monday evening, Vice President of Fashion & Shopping Partnerships at Instagram.
