"Les Sculptures" Spring 2024 Ad Campaign

Review of Jacquemus “Les Sculptures” Spring 2024 Ad Campaign by Creative Director Simon Porte Jacquemus and Photographer Théo de Gueltzl with model Imaan Hammam

Jacquemus transforms the world into its art gallery with the latest campaign for its Spring 2024 “Les Sculptures” collection by photographer Théo de Gueltzl.

The campaign continues the artful celebration of Jacquemus’ “Les Sculptures” collection, which was presented at southern France’s Fondation Maeght art museum at the end of January, and made available to buy just two weeks later.

Imaan Hammam exudes appropriately statuesque energy as she models the collection, bringing life to its artful inspirations. De Gueltzl captures her in both minimal studio shots and against the streets of Paris. In both sets of portraits, she poses on a pedestal like a sculpture come to life. The studio shots emphasize the sculptural qualities and refined lines of the collection’s silhouettes, while the street shots bring an energetic sense of juxtaposition that bridges the liminal space between art and life.

The campaign brilliantly unites art history, classically elegant fashion editorial (achieved thanks in no small part to an excellent model), and Jacquemus’ playful yet sophisticated chicness. From clever digital goodies to more built-out campaigns such as these, Jacquemus continues to be one of the strongest marketers in fashion, treating its many fans to a steady stream of artful, Mediterranean-minded excellence.
