The Former Moncler Executive Takes The Helm Of The OTB-Owned House As It Builds Its Next Chapter Under Creative Director Simone Bellotti
Jil Sander has appointed Marco Viganò as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately, bringing an executive with extensive luxury, retail, and international market experience to lead the house alongside Creative Director Simone Bellotti.

Viganò will report to OTB Group Chief Executive Officer Ubaldo Minelli, who had been overseeing Jil Sander on an interim basis during the leadership transition. He succeeds Serge Brunschwig, who exited the company in July 2025 after six months in the role.
“Jil Sander is a brand with a strong creative heritage and a distinctive identity that make it unique in the global luxury landscape,” Minelli said. “Marco’s experience and knowledge of international markets will contribute to the brand’s growth journey, supporting its development and further strengthening its positioning.”
Viganò joins Jil Sander from Moncler, where he served as Global Chief Client Officer and President EMEA. In those roles, he oversaw client development and customer experience strategies while working to deepen the brand’s relationship with its international clientele.
His appointment brings a particularly broad commercial and operational background to Jil Sander at a moment when the house is establishing a new creative identity under Bellotti.
Before Moncler, Viganò served as Chief Commercial Officer at Audemars Piguet and Chief Operating Officer at Saint Laurent. Earlier roles included positions at Louis Vuitton, Gucci, and L’Oréal, while his career has taken him across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Russia. He also previously worked at McKinsey & Company.
Viganò holds a degree in economics and business from Università Cattolica in Milan.
His arrival further establishes the leadership structure around Bellotti, who was appointed Creative Director of Jil Sander following the departure of Lucie and Luke Meier. Bellotti presented his first collection for the house for Spring 2026 and has since been developing his interpretation of Jil Sander’s minimalist design heritage.
Jil Sander is controlled by Renzo Rosso’s OTB Group, whose portfolio also includes Diesel, Maison Margiela, Marni, Viktor & Rolf, and a stake in Amiri, alongside production companies Staff International and Brave Kid.
