JW Anderson Launches First Collaboration With Diadora

The limited-edition project reinterprets Diadora’s 1975 Equipe runner through four bold colourways

JW Anderson has unveiled its first collaboration with Italian sportswear and footwear brand Diadora, reworking the heritage label’s Equipe trainer through a new limited-edition release.

Originally introduced by Diadora in 1975 for elite athletes, the Equipe silhouette became associated with performance running both on the track and beyond. For the collaboration, Jonathan Anderson revisits the archival design through a simplified and colour-focused approach, introducing the sneaker in four monochromatic colourways: Green Night, Navy Peony, Empire Red, and Princess Blue.

The unisex style retains the functional structure of the original model while incorporating JW Anderson branding through logo hardware and custom laces. The project reflects the broader intersection of fashion and archival sportswear currently shaping the luxury sneaker market, with heritage athletic silhouettes increasingly reinterpreted through contemporary design perspectives.

The collaboration was first introduced through the brand’s Autumn/Winter 2026 lookbook, styled on close collaborators and friends of the house. The accompanying campaign, photographed by Sammy Khoury and featuring actor Conor Sánchez, reflects the visual language and energy of the wider collection.

The JW Anderson x Diadora Equipe trainer launched on May 15 through selected JW Anderson stores, Diadora channels, Nordstrom, and online platforms. The sneaker retails for €390 and $470 USD.
