Loewe investigates texture and comfort with its Holiday 2023 campaign by photographer Letty Schmiterlow.
The campaign frames the house’s mastery of craft embodied in idiosyncratic, imaginative forms as the ideal holiday gift. The models stand before or lie on a massive leather pillow, which feels like an abstract and surreally voluminous repurposing of one of the house’s signature bags. The styling plays to holiday aesthetics without being overbearing by organically incorporating tones of red, green, and silver, while following a theme of intriguing textural juxtapositions.
Low-key but cleverly composed, the campaign nicely puts a festive spin on Loewe’s signature craft.
