The brand celebrated its latest AI-powered short film, created with Google’s Creative Lighthouse program, during an intimate gathering in the Hamptons
LoveShackFancy and Google hosted an intimate evening in the Hamptons to celebrate the debut of the fashion and lifestyle brand’s latest short film, created through Google’s Creative Lighthouse program. Co-hosted by LoveShackFancy founder and creative director Rebecca Hessel Cohen and Stephanie Horton, Global Consumer Marketing Director for Commerce at Google, the event marked the film’s first presentation following its unveiling at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.

Held at the Cohen residence, the gathering featured cocktails, a candlelit garden dinner, and a private screening of the film, which was created using Google’s AI technologies, including Gemini, Veo, and Nano Banana. The project explores new possibilities for visual storytelling, translating LoveShackFancy’s signature romantic and whimsical aesthetic into an AI-assisted creative campaign.
For Rebecca Hessel Cohen, the collaboration reflects an evolution of the brand’s longstanding storytelling approach. Drawing on her background in fashion styling and art direction, she described brands as today’s equivalent of magazines, capable of building immersive narratives across seasons and platforms. The partnership with Google’s Creative Lighthouse program offered a new medium through which to expand that vision beyond traditional fashion imagery.
The event brought together a guest list spanning fashion, entertainment, and digital culture, including Gabrielle Union, Bethenny Frankel, Rachel Zoe, Erin Walsh, Kate Davidson Hudson, Isaac Boots, and Stephanie Horton. It also continues LoveShackFancy’s strategy of extending its identity beyond apparel through immersive experiences, following collaborations across beauty, home, and lifestyle categories that have helped shape the brand’s broader cultural presence.
