British fashion brand Mark Fast opened its first store in Beijing. It is located in China World Mall, Beijing, China and has a sleek industrial feel interior topped with the brand’s signature neon elements that make the perfect match to Mark Fast street culture inspiration. One of the main features of the interior is the wall-length window looking out with a view over Beijing. The view speaks for itself, and the design team aimed to create the right balance between the natural view and the design within the store.
I have been working on the Mark Fast retail concept with my business partners at the right time, so when it has come to this challenging time, we were already ready and certainly were not going to stop. The stores have been a huge success and it is a market with unstoppable growth we most certainly want to be a part of.

The store planning and creation have been done during the pandemic. Through digital communication and video walkthroughs, the team has been able to communicate between London (brand headquarters) and Beijing to achieve something quite special.
Mark Fast has big plans for entering the Asian Pacific market: 5 stores are planned to open by the end of 2021. The next one in Hong Kong Harbor City, Hong Kong is coming soon.
