Michelle Ochs Takes the Helm as Creative Director of Hervé Léger

Ochs, an alumna of New York’s prestigious Parsons School of Design, stands as a testament to her exceptional talent, earning a BFA in Fashion Design and receiving the coveted Designer of the Year honor from Parsons in 2007. In 2008, she co-launched the eponymous ET OCHS label, swiftly capturing industry recognition for her sleek aesthetic and daring cutout silhouettes. Her ET OCHS collection became a staple on the red carpet, cherished by celebrities and revered by their stylists. From Michelle Obama and Beyoncé to Jennifer Lopez, Lady Gaga, and Kate Hudson, Ochs’s designs have graced the most influential women worldwide.

The designer has enjoyed a stellar career, achieving both commercial and editorial success. She claimed the prestigious 2009 Ecco Domani Award and earned nominations for the 2010 Fashion Group International Rising Star Award, the 2011 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund, and the 2013 Swarovski Award for Emerging Talent. In 2013, Forbes acknowledged her exceptional talent by including her on the esteemed 30 Under 30 list. Ochs’s consistent creativity also garnered her nominations for the Cooper Hewitt National Design Award in 2015 and 2016, showcasing her designer collection, as well as recent nominations in 2022 and 2023 for ET OCHS. She has been a member of the CFDA since 2012, further solidifying her industry standing.
