Net-a-Porter and Chloé hosted a two-day event in Taormina, Sicily, to celebrate the launch of an exclusive capsule collection featuring pieces from Chloé à la Plage available exclusively through the luxury retailer. The gathering, held from June 7-8, brought together fashion, art, and cultural figures alongside Net-a-Porter’s EIP clients at Villa Sant’Andrea, a Belmond Hotel.
Hosted by Net-a-Porter Chief Executive Officer Heather Kaminetsky, the event underscored the ongoing relationship between the retailer and the French fashion house while providing a destination-focused backdrop for the collection launch. Guests included Yara Shahidi, Dree Hemingway, Iris Law, Ellie Bamber, Alva Claire, Sheila Atim, Elizabeth Jagger, Mia Moretti, Harley Viera-Newton, Simona Tabasco, Stevie Sims, and Aurora James.
The weekend opened with a dinner at Nunziatina, inspired by the traditions of Sicilian family gatherings, with guests arriving in vintage Fiat 500s along the Taormina coastline. Activities continued the following day at Cottanera winery on the slopes of Mount Etna, where attendees participated in wine tastings and experienced local food and music against the backdrop of the estate’s volcanic vineyards.
The celebration concluded with cocktails and dinner at Villa Sant’Andrea overlooking Mazzarò Bay, followed by a beachside gathering featuring a DJ set from Mia Moretti. Throughout the weekend, guests wore pieces from the exclusive capsule collection, which blends Chloé’s seasonal aesthetic with Net-a-Porter’s luxury retail platform.

“Chloé’s enduring ability to create pieces that feel both contemporary and timeless makes this exclusive capsule collection particularly special. We are delighted to celebrate its launch together in Taormina – a destination renowned for its beauty, culture, and effortless elegance, making it the perfect setting to bring this partnership to life,” said Heather Kaminetsky, CEO of Net-a-Porter.
The launch reflects the continued importance of exclusive product partnerships and experiential retail strategies as luxury brands and retailers seek deeper engagement with high-value customers. The capsule collection is available globally through Net-a-Porter.
