The World’s First “WakeBASE” Stunt Sees the Athlete Complete a Wakeskate to BASE Jump in Bespoke Prada Gear
Prada Linea Rossa partnered with Wakeskate athlete Brian Grubb to support his first-of-its-kind “WakeBASE” jump.
A dream the athlete has been working towards for seven years, Grubb’s daring stunt began as he rode a wakeskate board (a board that is akin to a wakeboard but resembles a skateboard in that it has a smooth deck rather than bindings) across the infinity pool on at Dubai’s Address Beach Resort – the highest infinity pool in the world – as he was pulled by a specially built drone. Grubb then jumped off a ramp over the side of the building into a BASE jump, pulling his parachute and landing on the beach 77 stories below.
