LACMA Names ROSÉ Musical Guest for 2026 Art+Film Gala

The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) announced that ROSÉ will perform as the musical guest at its 2026 Art+Film Gala on November 7. The 15th annual event will honor artist Vija Celmins and filmmaker Denis Villeneuve and will be co-chaired by LACMA trustee Eva Chow and actor Leonardo DiCaprio. Gucci returns as the gala’s presenting sponsor, with Audi providing transportation and additional support.

The announcement brings one of music’s most prominent global figures to an event designed to recognize achievements across visual art and filmmaking. ROSÉ, known both as a solo artist and as a member of BLACKPINK, has expanded her presence across music and fashion. Her first studio album, rosie, and her collaboration with Bruno Mars on “APT.” have contributed to her international profile, while her work as a global ambassador for fashion brands has strengthened her position at the intersection of entertainment and luxury.

“The LACMA Art+Film Gala celebrates creative icons and the connections between all forms of creativity, all around the world,” said Chow. “As a global pop superstar, ROSÉ will amplify the spirit of the evening with her incomparable talent and style.”

The gala forms part of LACMA’s broader effort to establish film more centrally within its curatorial programming while supporting the museum’s wider institutional mission. Proceeds fund exhibitions, acquisitions and educational initiatives, as well as screenings that explore the relationship between art and film. The event also provides a platform for partnerships between cultural institutions and luxury brands, with Gucci’s continued sponsorship connecting the fashion house to LACMA’s programming and fundraising efforts.

At the 2025 gala, nearly 600 guests gathered to honor artist Mary Corse and filmmaker Ryan Coogler, with a performance by Doja Cat. The event raised $6.5 million, a record for the museum, underscoring its role as a significant fundraising occasion alongside its cultural program.

The 2026 gala will continue that format, bringing together figures from art, film, music and fashion around a shared institutional cause. With ROSÉ joining the program, LACMA is extending the event’s reach across creative industries while maintaining its focus on supporting the museum’s exhibitions and expanding its engagement with film.
