Balzary captures the latest collection from successfully relaunched and revitalized brand in beautifully simple portraits that glow with golden-hour lighting.
The accompanying short film brings a vintage cinematic perspective to the streets of present-day Los Angeles, where the protagonist’s looks set them apart from the passing crowd with elegant main-character energy. The soundtrack weaves together ambient cityscape noises with Mendelssohn’s famous incidental music for A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Op. 61, creating a textural rhapsody of classically sophisticated fantasy and urban reality.
Delicate and light yet substantially real, the campaign is a fitting reflection of the core design ethos at the heart of Rue Sophie.
