The new program combines SCADnow’s online graduate education with a year-long residential experience at the university’s campus in Lacoste, France
The Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) has announced a new residential graduate program at its Lacoste, France campus for the 2026–2027 academic year. Designed for eligible students enrolled through SCADnow, the university’s online learning platform, the program offers the opportunity to complete an academic year living and studying in Provence while continuing graduate coursework.
Located in the medieval village of Lacoste in the Luberon Valley, the campus combines restored historic buildings with contemporary academic facilities and creative studios. The residential offering blends the flexibility of online study with in-person learning, allowing students to engage with Europe’s fashion, luxury, design, and creative industries while participating in cultural programming and regional excursions.
Students will also have access to on-ground graduate courses offered during select quarters across disciplines including luxury and brand management, graphic design, illustration, interior design, painting, photography, writing, and animation. The curriculum is designed to foster professional connections with an international community of artists, designers, and creative leaders while providing greater exposure to European creative industries.
Applications are now open for eligible SCADnow graduate students interested in joining the residential program beginning in the 2026–2027 academic year, further expanding SCAD’s hybrid approach to graduate education through a combination of online learning and international immersion.
