Helena Christensen stars in a new campaign from luxury shoe label Tamara Mellon. The Danish supermodel is captured by photographer Jason McDonald.

I first met Helena working on a British Vogue shoot in Venice in the 90’s, very early in my career in fashion. I have always admired Helena’s work and outstanding personal achievements — for me her elegance and unique sense of style make her the quintessential Tamara Mellon woman, which made her a natural fit for our F/W’22 campaign.

McDonald’s simple imagery sees the model take to the streets of New York in a range of shoe styles from the designer’s latest collection, which features a range of high-glam boots and heels alongside a few more casual styles as well. While the photographs feel like a solid showcase of what the collection has to offer, the styling and imagery doesn’t show much imagination or feel very memorable. Still, fans of the brand will enjoy the simple look at the new styles worn by an industry icon.
