We are delighted to present the winners of The Impression Awards 2024 in the category of Ad Campaigns, celebrating the most innovative and captivating visual narratives that have left an indelible mark on the world of fashion this year.

Burberry earned the Campaign of the Year award for the first full seasonal campaign under the creative direction of Daniel Lee. Impeccably synthesizing a look to the brand’s archives and British heritage with a next-gen spirit of playful style and inclusivity, the campaign ushered in a monumental new chapter for the brand.

Loewe’s win for the Best Women’s Campaign is largely due to the unexpected presence of one remarkable woman – Maggie Smith. The legendary thespian brought grace, style, and charm to Juergen Teller’s series of chaotic yet composed photo collages.

Hedi Slimane’s Celine is renowned for its ability to incorporate a broad range of youth subcultures into the creative director’s distinctive oeuvre, and the house’s Summer 2023 men’s campaign was one of the most convincing examples of this practice yet. The creative director earned his brand the award for Best Men’s Campaign for his energetic and atmospheric portrait of southern California’s skateboard scene.

The award for Best Accessories Campaign goes to what was, fittingly, one of the most talked-about and anticipated handbag releases of the year – Louis Vuitton’s long-awaited second collaboration with iconic artist Yayoi Kusama. The imagery began with classic Steven Meisel portraits which were then illuminated with the artist’s signature colorful polka dots, creating a vibrant leap from the page in a transcendent intersection of fashion and art.

Securing the award for Best Fashion Film, Ferragamo and Maximilian Davis drew connections between its present moment in fashion and the Italian Renaissance – which is widely thought to have begun in the house’s home of Florence – for a stunning celebration of artistry and diversity.

The digital launch of Phoebe Philo’s eponymous label was a lesson in leveraging clout. The marketing campaign leading up to her first collection was done entirely through an opt-in email newsletter directing fans to the launch on her website – the only place to buy the collection – which also included a steady stream of stunning teaser imagery.

The Impression extends a hearty congratulations to each of the winners, and another round of thank you’s to our insightful and inspiring jury.
