The Standard, with Janelle Monáe and Kaytranada, celebrated the 2023 Met Gala at its exclusive annual after-party in the iconic Boom at The Standard, High Line. The Grammy nominated singer, rapper and actress, Janelle Monáe, marked the evening with an epic performance of her new single “Float” and performed unreleased music from her highly anticipated, forthcoming album. Accompanied by dancers dramatically painted in graphic black and white, her signature colors, in honor of Karl Lagerfeld, Janelle inspired an energy in the room that only she can. Janelle was joined by Grammy award winning producer, rapper and DJ Kaytranada whose distinct sounds left attendees dancing all night.

In a night marked by a growing swarm of events, the Boom Met Gala after party maintained its status and undisputed legacy as the best Met Gala after-party in town. and marks a special occasion for The Standard who are known for their legendary parties at their properties in marquee locations across the globe including New York, Miami, London, the Maldives, Hua Hin and Ibiza and the brand’s Asia flagship, The Standard, Bangkok Mahanakhon.
