ZEGNA Expands Oasi Zegna Global Initiatives Across U.S.

The brand deepens its environmental and cultural partnerships in California and Aspen, extending its century-old commitment to place-based stewardship

ZEGNA is expanding its Oasi Zegna Global Initiatives across the United States, building on environmental partnerships in California and Aspen while continuing its cultural relationship with the Aspen Art Museum. The latest phase reinforces the brand’s long-term approach to environmental stewardship through conservation, reforestation, ecological education, and community engagement.

The initiative takes its name from Oasi Zegna, the 100-square-kilometer nature preserve in Trivero, Italy, created through founder Ermenegildo Zegna’s early reforestation efforts beginning in 1910. What began as an investment in the landscape surrounding the company’s historic home has since evolved into a broader platform that connects environmental responsibility with the brand’s cultural and community activities.

In California, ZEGNA recently partnered with California State Parks and local conservation organizations to support habitat restoration and youth environmental stewardship following the Los Angeles wildfires. In Aspen, the brand continues to develop a network of long-term partnerships focused on protecting forests, public lands, and the region’s outdoor heritage, including collaborations with the Aspen Center for Environmental Studies, Roaring Fork Outdoor Volunteers, and The Farm Collaborative.

Together with ACES, ZEGNA is supporting science-based forest resilience efforts aimed at protecting Aspen Mountain’s Douglas-fir forests, while its work with Roaring Fork Outdoor Volunteers extends to trail stewardship at Maroon Bells and Lost Man Trail. The brand is also continuing environmental education initiatives with ACES and supporting The Farm Collaborative’s educational orchard, linking conservation with community-based learning.

The environmental program sits alongside ZEGNA’s ongoing cultural patronage in Aspen, where the brand returns as Presenting Sponsor of the Aspen Art Museum’s ArtCrush Gala. The dual investment reflects a strategy that positions environmental stewardship and cultural engagement as complementary parts of the same ecosystem, particularly in destinations where art, nature, and luxury intersect.

The expansion builds on ZEGNA’s broader commitment to planting or protecting more than 500,000 trees globally by 2027. In Aspen, the brand’s initiatives are designed around the specific needs of the local landscape, while the wider Oasi Zegna Global Initiatives establish a framework that can be adapted across different communities and environments.

By extending the Oasi Zegna philosophy from Trivero to California and Colorado, ZEGNA is translating a historic environmental legacy into a contemporary model of place-based partnership. The approach gives the brand a way to connect its heritage with a broader conversation around conservation and cultural responsibility, positioning the Oasi not simply as a destination, but as an evolving blueprint for how the company engages with the places in which it operates.
