Louis Vuitton continues its Spring/Summer Leathergoods campaign with a new installment featuring all three of the Houses “New Classics” modeled by celebrity actors Emma Stone, Léa Seydoux, and Alicia Vikander. Photographed by Craig McDean, the images are an extension of other recent collaborations featuring Kaia Gerber sporting the Twist Bag, and new colors and finishes for the Capucines bag.
This latest chapter marks a move from California to Paris. Léa Seydoux carries the Dauphine bag, Alicia Vikander opts for the Twist bag, and Emma Stone slings the Capucines bag saucily over one shoulder. Though the location has changed, McDean’s studied approach creates visual analogies to other recent photoshoots for the brand. With muses such as Seydoux, Vikander, and Stone to work with, less is more and adding extra flourishes might result in “gilding the lily” as the old saying goes; and with their effortlessly appealing wavey hair, barely-there make-up, and Louis Vuitton bags of choice, these lilies look perfect just as they are.
