13 09 SR continues its exciting emergence onto the scene with a new campaign for Fall 2022 by photographer Fiona Torre.
Drawing a bright sense of energy from colorful styling and chaotic yet balanced group compositions, Torre’s photographs create an inviting, open-ended narrative around its young protagonists, who may be friends, lovers, family – it doesn’t matter; the imagery creates a sense of togetherness and personality that draws power from its emotive ambiguity.
Though a strong introduction to the brand’s design ethos, the debut campaign from 13 09 SR, which felt more like lookbook and product shots, didn’t give us much of a sense of the personality, image, and community the young accessories brand is seeking to cultivate. This new campaign does great work to communicate a fresh direction of youthful energy, free love, and self-expression, confirming the brand as an exciting new voice in the industry.
