For the Spring/Summer 2023 season, Miu Miu will release three additional versions of the company’s iconic 574 sneaker in conjunction with New Balance. The sneakers uphold the New Balance legacy, drawing on a beloved Eighties silhouette and seamlessly fusing the Miu Miu signature with fringed blue and marble-effect cognac denim and blanched white leather.
In a perfect reflection of Miu Miu’s current mood, elements of deconstruction and reconstruction as well as the reinventing of wardrobe archetypes are all in play. All sneakers have the stacked New Balance x Miu Miu logo, which was first displayed on the Paris runway for Miu Miu’s Spring/Summer 2022 collection.
With a focus on fashion and function, innovation and a respect for technique and tradition—conversations that both the Miu Miu and New Balance names stand for—this latest proposal, which was photographed and captured by photographer and videographer Moni Haworth, features model Kayla Dunlap. Beginning at the end of February 2023, the New Balance x Miu Miu sneakers will be sold at Miu Miu boutiques all over the world and online at miumiu.com.
