In fashion, as in nature, growth has its seasons. Wes Gordon’s Fall 2025 collection for Carolina Herrera embraced change, resilience, and the beauty of transformation. Inspired by Being There, a film that finds wisdom in simplicity and nature’s cycles–
The collection embodied the idea that the best wardrobes, like the best gardens, are nurtured with care, thoughtfulness, and an eye toward the future.
Looking at the show’s audience, it was clear that Gordon has not only redefined the Herrera woman but built a community around her. From SNL’s Chloe Fineman to Bravo’s Bronwyn Newport, the room was filled with warm, spirited figures who perfectly reflect the brand’s evolving identity—a blend of modern sophistication and a touch of whimsy.
The industrial venue was adorned with roughly 3000 deep plum-colored ranunculus, appearing almost “planted” into the space—a striking contrast that served as both a visual metaphor and a reminder that beauty, like strength, often emerges from unexpected places.
Color has always been essential to Herrera, and this season, Gordon offered a palette inspired by autumnal gardens after the rain—moody grays, deep burgundy, and sudden bursts of vibrant hues. Inspired by Sonia Delaunay’s Rhythm Color at the Met, the collection played with contrast—a visual reminder that, much like nature, the Herrera woman thrives in moments of balance.
Gordon described the collection as “a complete wardrobe”—something that felt timeless yet entirely of-the-moment. From impeccably cut daywear to flowing gowns, it was a celebration of wearability without losing the grandeur that makes Herrera, Herrera.

I pushed harder this season than I ever have before,” Gordon shared. “I really wanted to evolve our woman a bit this season. 2025 is going to be an adventure, and I wanted her to be prepared for it.
That sentiment translated into a collection that felt more grounded, more confident, and undeniably modern. While romance and femininity have always been core to the brand, this season had an added sense of strength—tailoring was sharper, silhouettes were more defined, and there was a fresh energy infused into every look.
A gold bullion tulip embroidery, seen throughout the collection, felt particularly poignant. Like a flower made precious, it was both delicate and resilient—perhaps a nod to the very idea of enduring beauty and growth through uncertain times.
THE WRAP UP
The true beauty of this collection was not just in its grandeur but in its quiet depth—an understanding that fashion, like nature, is cyclical, and that great style is something nurtured over time.
Gordon’s Herrera woman doesn’t chase trends; she cultivates beauty, adding only the most meaningful pieces to her wardrobe, like planting a cherished flower in a well-tended garden.
Wes Gordon has long understood that the Carolina Herrera woman is defined not by extravagance, but by a refined, unwavering confidence—and this collection was proof of that philosophy in full bloom.
In a time when the world is shifting and uncertainty lingers, there was something reassuring about a collection that felt like an anchor—a reminder that, no matter what lies ahead, beauty, strength, and elegance will always have a place.
If Being There teaches us anything, it’s that growth is inevitable. And in Gordon’s hands, Carolina Herrera continues to blossom.
