Review of Ferrari Spring 2025 Ad Campaign by Creative Director Rocco Iannone and Photographer Willy Vanderperre with models Amelia Gray, Rejoice Chuol, and Hedi Ben Tekaya
Ferrari reflects on the transformational power of design with its Spring 2025 campaign, which sees the brand reunite once again with photographer Willy Vanderperre.
The imagery is anchored in a space that extends the setting of a closet into a theatrical and intimate stage for self invention. Extending the visual atmosphere of the collection’s runway show, brown curtains frame a square space dotted with a clothing rack, leather couches reminiscent of car interiors, a full-length mirror, and – a powerful statement set piece – the Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta Lusso, a masterpiece of the early 60s.
Amid this quietly glamorous liminal space, models Amelia Gray, Rejoice Chuol, and Hedi Ben Tekaya reinvent themselves with monochrome looks. Though we don’t see them before or after they enter “The Ferrari Cabinet,” we get the sense that they enter it as who they are, and step out as who they want to be.
Rocco Iannone’s vision for what Ferrari high fashion can be continues to impress us with its consistency and focus. Like his collections, his marketing communications are largely without extraneous external concept or narratives, instead honing in on the purity and power of design itself. With his direct and authentic photographic approach, Willy Vanderperre is an excellently chosen collaborator to bring this vision to life, and the two have once again crafted a powerful statement of Ferrari style.
