Retro tennis aesthetics meet modern streetwear in this Scandi-chic drop
Two iconic Scandinavian brands—Eton and Tretorn—have joined forces to launch a tennis-inspired capsule collection that merges vintage athletic aesthetics with modern tailoring. Drawing from collegiate prep and contemporary design, the collection offers a new take on versatile, preppy style for a generation that effortlessly moves between work, play, and leisure.
Crafted for a relaxed yet elevated look, the unisex collection includes striped shirting, varsity knits, tailored “track” chinos and shorts, and reimagined Nylite sneakers with interchangeable laces. The palette—deep green, navy, eggshell, and beige—balances sophistication and ease, while regimental stripes nod to Eton’s tailoring heritage and traditional tennis style.
“The style of this capsule is distinct for both of us and marks a major milestone for Eton—our first full-look collection,” said Mija Bladmo, Assortment Director at Eton. “Inspired by a vintage tennis aesthetic, it blends our brand’s signature design, craftsmanship, and heritage with a versatile, modern vibe. It’s a standout fusion of tailored sophistication and a sportif edge.”
Carl-Henrik Hallèn, Head of Design at Tretorn, added: “Tretorn was among the first sneaker brands to emerge in the early 1900s, and our Nylite model became an iconic tennis shoe decades later. In collaboration with Eton, we’ve reimagined the Nylite with a contemporary twist, blending classic tennis-inspired aesthetics with fun details, allowing for personal expression and an off-court playground look.”
The capsule offers a contemporary uniform for those who want to rewrite the rules of prep—infusing timeless sportswear with personality, comfort, and a forward-thinking approach to casual elegance.
