Etro and Globe-Trotter Unite on Luxury Luggage Collection

The Collaboration Blends Paisley Craftsmanship, British Heritage, and a Nomadic Vision of Travel

Etro has unveiled a new collaboration with Globe-Trotter, the historic British luxury luggage maker, bringing together the Italian house’s textile heritage with the craftsmanship and travel legacy of the storied luggage brand.

Conceived as a celebration of travel as an immersive and expressive experience, the collection reflects Etro’s long-standing nomadic spirit and multicultural perspective. Designed for what the brands describe as the modern aesthete, the collaboration positions luggage not simply as a functional accessory, but as an extension of personal identity and a repository of memories gathered through movement and discovery.

At the center of the collection is Etro’s signature Arnica fabric, featuring the house’s iconic Paisley motif. The jacquard textile upholsters Globe-Trotter’s vulcanised fibreboard suitcase structures, combining tactile richness with artisanal detailing. Leather trims and metal hardware — offered in tonal or contrasting finishes — complement interiors lined in Etro’s multicolored stripe motif.

Available in both Carry-On and Check-In formats, select styles reference vintage luggage through the addition of leather strap closures, balancing nostalgic design codes with contemporary functionality. The collection also includes a coordinating micro case with a shoulder strap, alongside custom protective covers for each model.

Two core variations anchor the offering: the Arnica Gold case, which pairs Etro’s canvas with brown leather and brass hardware, and the Arnica Black case, finished with black leather and black hardware for a more graphic contrast.

The collaboration also introduces a special-edition design created with British curator, illustrator, and painter Tabby Booth. Known for her reinterpretations of folk art traditions, Booth reimagines Etro’s Paisley through a dreamlike composition of mythological creatures, flora, and folkloric motifs, transforming each suitcase into a collectible visual narrative.

Throughout the collection, details such as the exclusive “Since 1968” patch — referencing Etro’s founding year — and the Pegasus emblem reinforce the house’s themes of freedom, movement, and cultivated exploration.
