The awards ceremony is to take place on November 3, 2025
The Council of Fashion Designers of America will hold the 2025 CFDA Fashion Awards on November 3rd, returning the ceremony to the American Museum of Natural History’s Hall of Ocean Life for the third consecutive year, and seeing the fourth year of Amazon Fashion as the presenting partner. Additional sponsors include Google Shopping, which will present the American Emerging Designer of the Year Award.
The awards will celebrate the excellence of American design in the company of global industry players and celebrities, acknowledging visionary designers and innovators that bring American style and culture to the global stage.
The Fashion Award nominees are tentatively slated to be revealed in September. Last year, the Council awarded Willy Chavarria his second American Menswear Designer of the Year title, Diotima’s Rachel Scott won the American Womenswear Designer of the Year award, and Raul Lopez of Luar took home his second American Accessory Designer of the Year award. Special honorees included singer Erykah Badu, named Fashion Icon, Daniel Roseberry, who was named International Designer of the Year, and Coach, which won the Innovation Award presented by Amazon Fashion.
