Zimmermann Appoints Roberto Eggs as CEO

Roberto Eggs appointed as new CEO of Zimmermann, Chris Oliver to take on executive chairman role

Zimmermann has appointed Roberto Eggs as Chief Executive Officer, effective May 1, marking a new chapter for the Australian-founded luxury brand as it continues its global expansion.

Eggs succeeds Chris Olliver, who has served as CEO since 2005 and played a central role in transforming Zimmermann into an internationally recognized luxury house. Olliver will transition to Executive Chairman, where he will continue to support the company’s long-term strategy alongside cofounders Nicky Zimmermann and Simone Zimmermann.

“Zimmermann represents a rare combination of creative integrity and commercial strength. It is a privilege to take on the role of CEO and to work alongside Nicky, Simone and Chris to guide the next chapter of the company’s evolution,” said Eggs.

Eggs brings extensive experience in luxury and consumer goods, most recently serving as Executive Board Member and Chief Business and Global Market Officer at Moncler Group. Over an 11-year tenure, he held several senior roles including Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Operating Officer, contributing to the company’s global expansion, brand positioning, and the integration and development of Stone Island.

Prior to Moncler, Eggs was President of the EMEIA region at Louis Vuitton, overseeing one of the brand’s most significant markets. Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles within Nestlé and Nespresso. He currently serves on the board of directors of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts and has been a member of Zimmermann’s board for more than a year, working closely with the leadership team during a period of sustained growth.

“I’m delighted to welcome Roberto to Zimmermann and look forward to working closely with him as we continue the brand’s strong global growth,” said Olliver. “His leadership record speaks for itself, and his decision to join is a powerful endorsement of what our team has built and the opportunity ahead.”

“From the beginning, our focus has been on building a brand with a distinct point of view and a lasting emotional connection,” added Nicky Zimmermann, Chief Creative Officer and Cofounder. “Roberto brings global perspective and a deep appreciation for brand building, and I look forward to shaping the future of Zimmermann together.”

Simone Zimmermann, Chief Operating Officer and Cofounder, noted that Eggs’ experience in scaling international luxury businesses will support the company’s continued investment in its global retail network and long-term capabilities.

Founded in Sydney in 1991, Zimmermann has grown into a global luxury brand with a strong presence across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific. Advent International became the majority shareholder in 2023, backing the brand’s international expansion in partnership with the founders and leadership team.

The appointment comes as Zimmermann continues to build its cultural and industry presence, most recently underscored by a high-profile front row at its Fall 2026 show in Paris, attended by figures including Oprah Winfrey, Jessica Chastain, Lily James, Naomi Watts, Ego Nwodim, Poppy Delevingne, and Molly Sims.
